Our story

The story of Taiga Honey began in Finnish forests.

Northern time is slow.
Day and night alternate
like summer and winter.

The long day is gentle.
In the light, only people and bees are busy.
Life must be devoured and nectar must be collected.

The dark night is quiet.
Only people are in a hurry.
Life must be lived,
even though all nature is sleeping.

Taiga Honey honey extracts contain gentle flavor combinations straight from the collective memory of our tribe. The raw materials are responsibly collected from Finnish nature. The honey extracts contain no additives and are naturally caffeine-free. The refined recipes and extraction process guarantee balanced and rich flavors.

The raw materials of the forests of the taiga region contain a wealth of natural substances that can heal people. Modern research also confirms the experience of traditional knowledge about their healing power. Nature's products have always been utilized in Finland: for example, baguette has been used as an effective stomach medicine and, after the war, as a coffee substitute.

An essential part of our story is beekeeping, where dependence on natural conditions and the well-being of the bees are important factors. Honey is collected from hives with respect for the bees. The beekeepers ensure that the bees are well and the hives have optimal conditions for wintering.

Our goal is to promote well-being in both natural environments and people. The driving force behind everything is Taiga Honey's founder, Jussi Taipale, and his long-standing interest in herbal medicine and health.

I'm following in my mother's footsteps.

I bend towards the edge of the forest and
I sink my fingers into its green hem.

The forest remembers,
it has raised us.
It gives when we ask.
We learn from its scarcity.

Nature is gentle.
to the one listening to it.

Taiga Honey products originated from the heritage of our ancestors. The revival for today happened by adding a touch of respect and innovative courage to the recipe.
